Radiologist

Radiography

The Department offers utmost quality in imaging, accuracy in reporting with minimum waiting times. In addition to all types of conventional radiography, the department is also capable of performing any fluoroscopic-dependant special radiological procedures. The procedures are performed under the direct supervision of senior, experienced and qualified Radiologists.

Ultrasonography

The Department is equipped with the latest Doppler / Ultrasound machines.
All types of conventional, abdominal, small parts sonography are performed with the reports being authenticated by a qualified team of sonologists / Radiologist.
US guided biopsies/aspirations are routinely done with a high level of target accuracy and post-procedure care.

MRI

Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) is a medical imaging technique used in radiology to visualize internal structures of the body in detail. MRI makes use of the property of nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) to image nuclei of atoms inside the body. MRI can create more detailed images of the human body than are possible with X-rays.
AMC uses state of the art MAGNETOM C is the economical open MR scanner from Siemens. It ensures maximum patient acceptance, delivers exceptional image quality and provides an excellent return-on-investment. MAGNETOM Concerto is equipped with the high-field components necessary to achieve excellent image quality in very reasonable acquisition times: very strong gradients, a wide selection of advanced sequences and high-field computer performance.

X-Ray

X-rays are a form of electromagnetic radiation, as is visible light, but with some different characteristics. The important difference is that X rays can penetrate or pass through the human body and produce shadow-like images of structures such as bones, some of the organs, and signs of disease and injury. AMC’s X-ray department is equipped with Siemens PANTOSKOP 5, Portable X-Ray Machine and Super VeraView X500 machine that provides digital exposures with outstanding image clarity, contrast, and resolution at a super high speed.

CT Scan

A computed tomography (CT) scan uses X-rays to make detailed pictures of structures inside of the body. A CT scan can be used to study all parts of your body, such as the chest, belly, pelvis, or an arm or leg. It can take pictures of body organs, such as the liver, pancreas, intestines, kidneys, bladder, adrenal glands, lungs, and heart. It also can study blood vessels, bones, and the spinal cord.
